It's here! Art's here. Alumi are here. Good weather is finally here.
It's the last day of the countdown. Come tomorrow morning, at 10 AM, Art in the Wilds will be open! Artists will be loaded into white tents with works for sale of all kinds of mediums. Keep on the lookout for Megan Gillis, Leslie Halaby-Moore, Lana Heckendorn, Rocky Holland, Peggy Houser, Stacie Johnson-Leske, Gregg Kristophel, Donna Little, LeAnne Marquis, Earl Martz, Caelin McDaniel, Carol McDonald, Deborah Moyer, Susan Murphy, Jack Northrop, Jack Paluh, Ellen Paquette, Francia Patti, Larry Schneider, Kathleen Schnell, Dan Sullivan, Robert Vrboncic, Curt Weinhold, Megan Whitten, Dave Zaborowski, Evian Zukas-Oguz, and more!
Come on by for the art, for the nature, for the food and the hospitality. We're all looking forward to seeing old friends and new friends visiting Art in the Wilds this weekend. Meet you there!
Two days! Just two days to go until Art in the Wilds launches for the 13th year. This 2019 cycle brings some of the best artists in the area. Some to look forward to:
Denise Drummond; who's personal creative expression presents itself in the form of detailed graphite drawings.
Mark English; a self-taught welder working with steel and other metals; often incorporating glass, enamels or other accents.
Gerina Faison; who believes when designing a specific piece of jewelry it is a work of wearable art.
And, Karen Fitzpatrick; a stained glass artist who's art possesses, strikes a chord, it’s ephemeral, it hums a melody, and is always welcome company.
Watch out for the final day of the Countdown and everything else to look forward to this weekend at Evergreen Park in Kane, PA!
Less than three days left, can you believe it! I'm getting giddy over the Kane area's little corner of the map, this weekend hosting painters, photographers, metalworkers, jewelers, woodcarvers, text-stylists and more.
Along with Art in the Wilds itself, keep your options open for the rest of town and counties in the area. Look for restaurants nearby as a dinner or lunch option. Whichever meal you venture out to find, stick around and snag a snack from one of this year's vendors.
We'll have Off the Grill featuring their crab cake sandwiches and grilled veggie gyros. PDL Catering will be making an appearance showcasing burgers and hot dogs (hams and hots to the locals), hand cut fries and steak sandwiches. North Country will be bringing their famous kettle corn! The Mt Jewett Rotary will be dishing out funnel cakes.
