Purchase Awards

Purchase awards are just like gift certificates. They are a perk for artists and are advertised when we put out the "call for artists". It lets them know that we are working to make sure that sales are made.

Our purchase awards come in increments of $20 and when someone buys them, they are given the certificates to keep until the weekend of the Art in the Wilds show. They use them just like money to buy pieces of art. The artists are given an explanation as well and will give change to the buyer. The artists will then take the certificates to the Hospitality tent and trade them for cash at the end of the show. Contact Marilyn Blackmore 814-837-7167.

Volunteers Needed!

Nearly 50 volunteers are needed to operate this major art event. Support the arts and meet great people!

Supported by:

The Sixth Annual Art in the Wilds is supported by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA), a state agency, through the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA), its regional arts funding partnership. State government funding depends upon an annual appropriation by Pennsylvania's General Assembly and from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. PPA is administered in this region by the Elk County Council on the Arts. Art in the Wilds is also supported by the Kane Community Development Foundation that supports the establishment and or development of projects intended to serve the long-term best interests of the citizens of the Kane Area.
