Larry Schneider

Painting,  Carnegie PA
I began painting as a hobby in high school. I continued to paint through my college years and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. I did not study art and therefore I am mostly self-taught.
As time went on, I became a street artist exhibiting at art and craft festivals. I have done shows with as many as 500,000 visitors to shows with as little as 500 visitors at locations from Chicago to Boston and Syracuse to Tampa. I won “best in show” awards on some occasions and sometimes even a money award.
I enjoy painting birds and animals rather than abstracts, and portraits. I prefer using canvases such as hardboard, wood, artist’s fungus, rocks, and glass. I do not make prints.  Every work is original.

Here are a few images of the artist's work for sale.
