My artwork embraces memories of childhood using imaginative images and storytelling. The art is inspired by my natural surroundings and children's fables and tales.  At my home studio in the mountains of central Pennsylvania, I am often kept company by my cats, but also by the beautiful creatures I see outside of my windows such as deer, rabbits, and birds. Using my collection of handmade and vintage paper, many of these animals are dressed in vintage paper doll clothing as they dance, perform in the circus, and walk their pets. Nearly every feature of my art has this mixed-media approach, with lettering, vintage papers, and even hand-cut leaves on the trees.
