Amy Hahn

Stained Glass, Cambridge Springs PA
Art speaks to us because it’s about us. It’s about our collective and individual journeys in this wondrous universe.
Every one of my pieces tells a story. The story may be about a place once visited or memory from long ago; unique experiences brought to art.
I create award-winning, one-of-a-kind, hand-cut stained-glass mosaics. Using my background in painting, I use the same philosophy and approach to my mosaics. Each brushstroke is done with glass instead of paint.
I love working in glass, especially dealing with the challenges and limitations of the material. The glass must be carefully chosen from a limited palette since colors cannot be mixed like paint. Each piece must serve as an individual brushstroke working in harmony with the surrounding pieces.

Here are a few images of the artist's work for sale.  Each piece is of hand cut stained glass, some with a hand painted background.  They are sealed with epoxy resin.
