Christina KrautzJewelry, Greensburg PA
My mother was an art major and would tell you she is not much of an artist. Art was ingrained in us growing up.
Moving to Wisconsin at the beginning of my junior year, I was lucky enough to be introduced to metalsmithing classes at my new high school. 18 years later and living in New York, metalsmithing returned to my life. Two years ago, my father got sick, I quit my job, moved home, and have continued metalsmithing, improving my skills ever since. I tend to have a modern old pawn ascetic due to my love of vintage and turquoise and I hope this gives my jewelry a chance to continue to build its story for lifetimes to come. |
