Nature inspires me not only in my life but also in my work. I am amazed by the intricate and delicate forms and components of the leaves and flowers - each unique and one of a kind. My love for these elements is a paramount component of my work. I hand fabricate each of my pieces using sterling, gold, and semi-precious gemstones. My love of the traditional techniques of hand forging metal began during art school at Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia and has continued and solidified into my own unique design process and style. I work as an independent artist in my Western Pennsylvania studio. I feed my inspiration, creativity, and design process by hiking, studying nature, traveling widely, and sketching constantly.
