My work has evolved from a background in painting, carving, and taxidermy. As a professional artist for the past fifty years, I have explored many mediums utilizing their applications and possibilities. Employing all this knowledge with a fertile imagination and a fascination for flora and fauna I have created some interesting pieces.
I work with abstract shapes in found wood with the addition of sculpting, casting, and painting techniques. I try to make my sculptures strikingly realistic with an impressionistic flair. |
