With an endless variety of techniques and designs, I create one of a kind pieces of wearable glass art.
Using a torch running on propane and oxygen I melt clear glass together with different forms of colored glass. By using a soft flame, I am able to control the heat and viscosity of the glass to create an intricate pattern. I also use silver flake which creates a galaxy effect inside the pendant. Recently I have started incorporating opals to the center of my 3D implosion pendants, adding extra depth & value. After each piece is finished it is annealed in a kiln, slowly cooling down to prevent cracking.
